Renovation and upgrading | Pavillon Vachon
Université Laval’s Pavillon Vachon is undergoing major renovations to modernize and upgrade the landing stage. The aim of the work is to improve safety, accessibility and infrastructure efficiency to meet the current and future needs of the university community.
The project
The entire section of the building concerned was cleaned out to enable a complete overhaul of the infrastructure. The redevelopment aims to improve safety and accessibility for students, staff and visitors. The work includes the installation of new entrances, new flooring and landscaping, and new signage to facilitate traffic flow. Priority is being given to applying the latest standards in universal accessibility and energy efficiency, in order to create a functional, sustainable and welcoming space.
