Fixed price contract

This type of contract is the most common of all and is governed by CCDC-2. In this type of project, the contractor undertakes to carry out the work that is included in the plans and specifications. The complete design of the project must be completed before the project is carried out. This type of contract already has several advantages.

Design-Build Service

In this type of agreement, the client enters a comprehensive contract with a sole provider for the seamless integration of design and construction services for the project. This type of contract is governed by CCDC-14.

This type of project allows close collaboration between the general contractor and the professionals to optimize the construction for the best interest of the clients. This is a win-win partnership for all parties as the design-build team works in a unified manner with the client.

It is even possible to carry out the project in accelerated mode (also called Fast Track) by starting the work before the end of the project design.
